Really well balanced brew

Brewing it was (as always) a lot of fun. I love every aspect of the process. Even the waiting! This beer is exceptionally tasty and well balanced. Even with the additional honey, it was not too sweet or cloying. It had a really nice bite to it which I was not expecting. I am definitely going to make this beer again. Highly recommended!

White House Honey Ale

Our White House Honey Ale was finished and ready for tasting today and it is yummy. Pretty amber/golden color, slightly sweet, and rich, but still balanced, with good carbonation. The brew recipe states you can add a bit of honey within the brewing process, but didn’t since we didn’t have any on hand. That probably amps up the honey quality, but I think the beer is still plenty good without. We bottle our beer in 32 oz grenades and this recipe fills 4 of them. Follow the directions and you’ll get a tasty beer to drink in about four weeks!
