Bass Membrane Clarinet BY BRAS

Sleek design and great resonance. Notes can differ in quality / correctness depending on how it's blown (both positively and negatively). Second highest note sounds off (unknown if it is intentional for the scale or not) Easy repairs, though questionable (they send two latex gloves with the package for membrane repair, though there is no manual or indication of what their purposes are). Connection points are sturdy, but sometimes rotate oddly. No easy way to play semitones. Comes with an endearing 3D printed whistle / keychain. Overall a good product, though it could use some tweaking.

This instrument is genius. It sounds like a dream, and is exactly as fun as it looks to play. If you've wandered your way here from a BY BRAS video that got you excited, you will not be disappointed... unless it being hand-shipped from France is going to create an unacceptable delay for you (fair warning, it took mine several weeks to reach the USA and I paid $20 in tariffs. The Shopify app was not amazing at smoothing that over. But not a knock against the instrument or the seller)

Wildly cool instrument! Such a rich bassy sound, unbelievable that it comes out of such a small package. Very impressed with the ingenuity and playability of the design. This thing rocks!
