Worth the extra time

Great introduction to sour brewing!
Made my first ever sour with this kit. It was easy, and watching/tasting the lactobacillus slowly do its work was really fun. I picked cherry, and it came out with a subtle tartness and subtle fruit character. Perfect summer sipping beverage. I will brew again at some point, probably letting the lactobacillus work for 3 rather than 2 days, and maybe using a bit more fruit.

Great beer...and I usually don't like sours
I used the dark cherry puree and let sit for 3 days to sour. This is a somewhat light and very drinkable beer. I added some vanilla extract before bottling for just a slight hint of vanilla. This was my go to beer for football games and I ended up bottling about 2 gallons to free up a keg. Just drank the last one this past week.
