Huge main compartment with a couple inside pockets. Easily accesible "stash" spot on the outside. Optional belt with the option to clip on to your hip belt or straps or etc. Super cushioned where it matters. I also can't say for certain but have confidence in my things staying relatively dry inside.

I just bought a second Summit Bum - that’s how much I like this waist pack. Small enough to not get in my way but large enough to hold a number of small items. I usually use this for quick walks or recreational kayaking. Most recently, I used this for air travel, stuffing it with all sorts of things. Big enough for a 500ml soft water bottle and a wind shirt. The two small, flat inner pockets are useful. I feel like the padded waist belt is a worthy upgrade.
