Works great, but build quality could be better

Everything works as expected the light modes, the charging, and the lock function all perform well. However, the build quality leaves a bit to be desired. The thread/screw connection on the lantern body looks a bit unfinished, and there were some visible glue residues around that area. Doesn’t affect functionality, but feels a bit rough for the price point. Hoping this gets refined in future batches! That said, overall I’m happy with the lantern great for van life and camping, compact and reliable. Would recommend it if you can look past the minor cosmetic flaws!

Brilliant little light

I absolutely love the Flextail ZERO Lantern. It’s one of those rare products that actually delivers on the hype. The thing is tiny, at just 56g it’s barely noticeable in your pack, yet the amount of light it kicks out is astonishing. What impresses me most is the balance between size and performance. You expect something this small to be a compromise, but it really isn’t. Whether I’m using it as a lantern around camp, hanging it in a tent, or using it as a flashlight, it’s incredibly bright and surprisingly versatile. For anyone who enjoys camping, hiking or travelling light, this is exactly the sort of kit you want. It takes up virtually no space, weighs next to nothing, and gives you a huge amount of usable light when you need it. The battery life is excellent too, and the build quality feels far more premium than its tiny size would suggest. It’s a brilliant example of good design: simple, lightweight, practical and incredibly effective. I genuinely find myself showing it to people because they can’t believe something so small can produce so much light. If you’re trying to save weight without sacrificing functionality, the ZERO Lantern is an absolute no-brainer.
