Copperhead® Wort Chiller - 50 ft.

Nice chiller that needs better QC

I ordered the Copperhead® Wort Chiller - 50 ft. Although it seems to do a decent job chilling wort, one of the $240 chiller's brass connection fittings leaks due to cross-threading. I expected better from a higher-end product like this. This problem could be mitigated by better quality control...perhaps a pressure test?

I definitely recommend this. It chills the wort in a fraction of the time that an ice bath does.

huge improvement

unbelievable improvement in wort cool down time in a 5-gal brew. watching temperature drop from boiling to 70 degrees in 8 minutes.
