Worked quickly and well

I bought this and the transfer pump kit, and pumped water from a large cooler full of ice through the coil and back to the top of the ice. Constant stream of ~32°water brought the wort temp down much faster than a sink ice bath, and I was able to leave the lid mostly on the wort without stirring it and letting dust get in. Only real downside is the confusion of tubing vs coil diameters in the listing description and the mismatch between this tubing and the pump tubing. Would be nice if Northern brewer added some more tubing adapters to their stock.

Very nice. Would like a longer exit hose or a male hose bib. I brew in my driveway garage and I would not waste water if I could water the garden.
