Ice bath in my sink would take about 45-60 min to cool my wort. With this I can do it in under 3 minutes (half boils). Shortens brew day drastically!

Works great!

Finally got a chance to put it to the test after having it in hand for two months! Bought this to replace a 25 ft homemade copper version. Put the copper coil in a cooler of ice water to pre-chill before going into Silver Serpent. Used my Anvil Brewing pump to move the chilled water through. Cooled 5 gallons in around 15 minutes, fastest ever! Easy to clean hop material and sticky gunk after boil as well. Would definitely recommend if you have the money to spend on kit!
