They don't work with my wifi so initial set up was tricky. Aquasense frequently tells me the skimmer basket is clogged but my pool is clean and its basically empty. I also wished it worked with my tanning ledge. For the $ we spent I fully expected more. Both can only be used when pool pump is off so its not helpful when we want to hop in mid day and enjoy the benefits of a clean pool

Excellent Combination with the iSkim with One Caveat for Desert Pools
I've been running the AquaSense 2 together with the Beatbot iSkim, and the combination has dramatically reduced the amount of pool maintenance I have to do. The iSkim deserves special praise... it has been outstanding. It runs 24/7 and keeps the surface so clean that I haven't had to manually skim the pool once, even after mowing the lawn. Recently I emptied what was almost a couch-pillow-sized mat of grass from the iSkim, and almost none of it ever made it into the pool. That alone has been worth the investment.
The AquaSense 2 also performs well overall. It climbs walls reliably, cleans the waterline well, and handles normal debris, leaves, bugs, and sand without issue. Build quality and app integration have both been very good with a slight annoyance of the app not working while the bot is submerged. It does a good job of parking in reach though, even when the battery is dead.
The one area where I'd like to see improvement is extremely fine dust. I live in southern New Mexico, where we deal with very fine desert silt. The AquaSense's filter actually captures a surprising amount of it, but the rotating front brush tends to disturb and suspend the finest particles before they reach the suction inlet. Those particles then settle again, especially in corners and along the floor-to-wall transition where the robot has difficulty making a second pass.
I would love to see Beatbot offer an optional high-capacity, ultra-fine filter basket designed specifically for fine dust and silt or potentially offer an option to pause the front brush motion for parts of the run. I suspect many customers in desert climates like Arizona, New Mexico, Nevada, and West Texas would appreciate the option.
Overall, I'm very happy with the purchase. The AquaSense 2 and iSkim have significantly reduced the time I spend maintaining my pool, and with a fine-dust filter option and brush modifications, I think the system would be close to perfect.

Works great
We’re new to pool ownership. We had a friend with a beatbot and decided to go with the Aquasense 2. It works really well and is simple to use.
