20 year old pool
Has never sparkled as much as in the last two weeks!! I bought this for my husband for his 70th birthday. For 20 years he’s been doing the old-time dragging of the hose and pushing the vacuum back and forth to clean our pool. Now, he gets to read a book, work in the yard, or just sit and relax while Marco Poolo (our grandkids named it :) does the job for him. It’s amazing how small a particle it can pick up. This was worth every penny spent, we highly recommend the product!

It Does it All, with room to grow.
My thoughts on the Sora 70. I bought it specifically to simplify my pool cleaning routine due to my long work schedule and need for a clean pool, and it has genuinely exceeded my expectations. The ability to direct it to focus on specific zones (floor, surface, etc.), the intuitive app controls, multiple cleaning modes, and the very minimal maintenance reminders make a real difference. It truly does it all—floors, walls, waterline, and surface—with strong performance and impressive build quality. I’ve been very happy with the results. While the Sora 70 already sets a high bar for cordless robotic cleaners, I’m excited about where Beatbot can take the technology next. Here are a few forward-looking features and capabilities I’d love to see in future models or updates. These would build on the current intelligent navigation (SonicSense ultrasonic avoidance and S-shaped paths) and make the experience even more seamless and “set-it-and-forget-it”: • Advanced AI Mapping & Learning — A more robust system that fully maps the pool layout, learns high-debris zones and traffic patterns over multiple cycles, and continuously optimizes routes. This would deliver even more efficient, thorough cleaning tailored to each unique pool. • Solar Charging Capability — Integrated solar charging (via the dock or auxiliary panels) to extend runtime and reduce grid dependence. It would be a big win for sustainability-minded owners and longer cleaning sessions. The Beatbot, via the app, would know that it can charge on side of pool so it can extend cleaning time to complete the session if need be. • AstroRinse™-Style Self-Cleaning Dock (like the AquaSense X) — Bringing hands-free filter rinsing and debris emptying to the Sora lineup or future models. Making maintenance almost completely effortless would be a game-changer for convenience and would significantly reduce manual interaction. • Customizable Patterned Cleaning Modes — Additional structured options such as S-pattern, N-pattern, or spiral modes (alongside the existing smart AI navigation). These would give users more flexibility for targeted deep cleans, heavy leaf seasons, or specific pool shapes. This could help tie-in with the Smart AI mapping for highly optimized and efficient cleaning cycles. • Beatbot-Approved Cleaning Solution — A safe, recommended (or ideally integrated) cleaning solution/treatment designed specifically for use with Beatbot robots to tackle calcium scale and other build-up. Incorporating guidance or even automated dosing into a self-cleaning dock would eliminate guesswork and third-party/DIY risks while protecting the equipment. • Integrated Water Chemistry Monitoring — Using specialized reactive testing strips or cartridges (analyzed by onboard sensors, cameras, or dock readers), the robot could measure and report key pool chemistry parameters such as pH, sanitizer levels, phosphates, metals, alkalinity, and early indicators of algae risk. As well as pool temperature. By delivering this data through the app after each cycle or on demand, owners could stay ahead of imbalances. Knowing when the water is becoming a breeding ground for algae, scaling, or other issues—turning the Beatbot from a reactive cleaner into a proactive pool health guardian. One feature that could create real excitement and differentiate future Beatbots is the addition of cameras. In addition to enhancing debris detection and navigation with AI vision/pool mapping, they could enable two complementary experiences: • In surface mod, a real-time/live camera view streamed over home WiFi for low-latency viewing of what the Sora is seeing and cleaning — like a smart pool cam right in the app. • When submerged, the ability to record cleaning cycles (with onboard storage or easy app/cloud export) so owners can review or share the transformation afterward — similar to how EV owners enjoy dashcam footage. This dual-mode approach would turn the robot into both a powerful cleaner and an engaging, viewable part of the pool experience. I’m genuinely optimistic about Beatbot’s direction with AI, automation, and pool care innovation.

Love this little thing!!!
This cleaner is sooo much better than our old one. Our old Dolphin took forever to clean the filters. This little guy takes 10 seconds!! Charging is easy! And the clean up job it does is the best feature of all! We love it! A++
