Love this bench press. Been eyeing for awhile. I got it since I've had shoulder issues and couldn't do regular bench pressing. Now I can. Ive done 2 chest days with it without shoulder pain afterwards and I definitely feel it in the chest more. Worth the money for sure.

Well built versatile bench. The height adjustment is a major improvement over my last leverage bench and the isolated arm movement makes a difference.

Misleading Weight Capacity Information Cost Me This Purchase

I was excited about this machine because it looks well-built and has a compact design. Unfortunately, I discovered after purchasing it that the 300 lb loading capacity is a combined total between both arms (150 lb per arm). That was a major disappointment. My biggest issue is that the product page never clearly states “150 lb per arm” in the specifications. In fact, one of the images points directly to the loading sleeves and simply says “300 LBS Loading Weight Capacity,” which reasonably led me to believe each arm could hold up to 300 lb. If the total capacity is actually split between both arms, that should be stated clearly in both the specifications and on the product images to avoid confusion. What makes this even more frustrating is that I only found this out after watching a YouTube assembly video for the machine. During the video, it was mentioned that the machine is limited to a combined 300 lb loading capacity (150 lb per arm). That information should not require customers to search YouTube after they’ve already made a purchase—it should be clearly disclosed in the product listing. To make matters worse, when I contacted GMWD about returning the unopened machine, I was told that because of the size and weight, return shipping would cost more than the machine itself, and they recommended that I sell it locally instead. While I appreciate their honesty, that’s not a practical solution after making a purchase based on what I believe was unclear product information. The machine itself may be perfectly fine for someone whose training stays within its weight limits, but I think buyers deserve much clearer disclosure that the advertised 300 lb loading capacity is a combined capacity rather than 300 lb per arm. Had that been made clear, I would have purchased a different model. So I’m sure it’s fine, but it’s going to sit in my basement, in the box, until I can get someone to buy it so I can buy a different one.
