If you live in an apartment with hard water, this is the best system you could hope for at a very reasonable price. This is a dual system with a softener and filter, nothing like it on the market. Just buying a stand-alone filter can cost you the price of this entire unit. There is a learning curve, but it's worth putting in the time if like us, you've been living with the damaging effects of super hard water. We modified the rig somewhat to suit our bathroom layout, but the kit it comes with has everything you need for installation. We had some issues at first, having to regen too often, but thanks to stellar customer service, we were able to resolve the problem. They were responsive and patient, working with us every step of the way to get the system up and running perfectly. We now get about 25 showers per regen. This system works, the proof is in the test strips.

I’ve been really happy with this shower water softener system. The water feels noticeably softer, and my skin feels smoother and less dry after showering. It was easy to set up and has made a big difference in my daily showers. I’m very satisfied with it and would definitely recommend it to others!

Shower head works good, well made and does not leak any water. I purchased this with the filtering system. I like that soft water care gives you short and long hoses. I use both long hoses and the shower head attchement had no issue with length.
