Loving it

Really like the fit & finish and the quality & colour of the leather, can't wait to see what kind of patina would develop! There're only two places I'd like to see improvements: 1. The leather leaves a bulging spot after water spills, and as a phone case it's kinda hard to always avoid that. Is it possible to improve the waterproofing by different materials or finish maybe? 2. The charger cutout can be a little bigger to accommodate cables with large housing.

The corners are fraying after just a week

I did loads of research before buying a leather case and wanted an all round leather case like the Ryan London, not like Nomad cases which have silicone bumpers. At first the case looks and feels really good. The saddle brown is a great colour and it felt like a real upgrade to my previous Torras O-stand case which is silicone. But after just one week, the bottom corners of the bumper started fraying where the case just protrudes above the phone screen showing real wear of the leather. I’m very careful to look after my stuff so do not misuse or be aggressive with my phone at all and this was disappointing to see after a week. I’ve had to put leather conditioner on the affected areas to try and restore it as it began to look like a pair of old cracked leather trainers. It wasn’t a change in the patina as some say it could be, it was actual leather wear in the corners from normal, but careful use. Doesn’t feel like a saddle leather case which is robust and will last the distance, which is what I wanted. Unfortunate as I really wanted it to be good, supporting a local British business, and all the reviews online were great which persuaded me to take the plunge.
