NETA TROUSERS – PDF SEWING PATTERN

Excellent pattern, excellent instructions!

I would highly recommend this trouser pattern, very nicely cut, sizing chart is accurate to the garment and it fits beautifully. Well that's what you would expect from a pattern, but sadly this is rarely the case, for patterns designed for the home garment maker.. Bella's pattern instructions are excellent, very well thought through. There is one slight error though, which may be helpful to know in advance. The fly facing label RSU is on the wrong side of the pattern. . .Okay though if you prefer to have your trouser openings the mens way, or like most jeans are made. I teach garment making – I will be recommending this pattern to my students!

A classic trouser that's giving MaxMara vibes

It is always a pleasure to sew a BLP pattern. As a self taught sewist, there is much to learn and I always feel like my sewing grows exponentially with every BLP pattern I sew. These trousers are incredibly detailed as are the instructions and you are left with a bespoke trouser that is giving MaxMara vibes. I love how they are not too wide (compared to the Billys) yet have the same classic details (hook/eye closure, bias bound waistband). I was in-between sizes and sized down. I made one pair in corduroy and another in lyocell/cotton twill. Can't wait to make a linen pair for summer so I can wear my Netas year round!
