Surprisingly good
Really good tea, much better then you would expect from the price. The taste is great, full body but still smooth, and it's effect is surprisingly good as well: I drink shu pu-erh before QiGong practices and mediatation to clear up the mind and wake up some Jing Qi. It is rare that such a young shu can do that, but if you hit the appropriate quantity (strong but not too much), this one can do. Cheers! :)

This is a wonderful example of a dark, deep, and woody puerh. Every infusion has the qualities I enjoy most--rich, loamy, bitterness fused with sweetness. Not fruity sweetness, but more integral. A new favorite puerh!

Deliciously smoky
This tea tastes like an open fireplace and old books (very much in a good way!) It is strong and comforting and can go for many steeps. Has an element of smokiness but it is very well rounded and enhances the tea rather than overwhelming it. Definitely my go to tea in winter for a quick session.
