Too grassy
This ripe pu-erh has a very distinctive flavor due to its 17 years of aging in bamboo. While that process gives it a unique character, it can be quite intense and may not suit everyone’s taste—especially if you’re not a fan of bamboo-influenced grassy notes. If you’re new to this style, it’s best to try a sample first before committing to a full brick.

Fine Pu-erh purchase
Another fine pu-erh purchase from Yunnan Sourcing USA. I've been buying from them for years and will keep doing so.

An absolute standout! This 2009 Jinggu Bamboo-Wrapped Brick is everything a good ripe pu-erh should be—rich, aromatic, and perfectly aged. It’s incredibly resilient, easily giving me 10–12 flavorful infusions in a gaiwan. You can really taste the quality of the material and the benefit of the aging process. A must-have for any pu-erh lover's collection.
