Everyday Defense

I actually gave my Granddaughter the everyday defense. She took a trip to Scotland. She’s back and so far never got sick. So I’d say it was a win!

I love the idea of transdermal patches for quick absorption. However, the patch itself is big and uncomfortable. The material doesn't "breathe" at all, so your skin feels a bit suffocated. Kind of feels like a large piece of packing tape stuck to your arm...or whatever body part you use. The patch tends to curl when removed from the backing, which is very frustrating because then it becomes difficult to affix to your body. I often found that even with an alcohol wipe and tweezers--no finger contact--, there was always one corner that didn't stick and would catch on my clothing. This becomes hard to bear after the 6 hour mark when a suggested wear time is 8-12 hours. I realize this is a new field for vitamins and medicines, but a lot of other patches for medical grade use are more comfortable and breathable. I would buy again as I love the distribution method, but would ask for the technology to be improved for future patches.
