After years of searching for a razor to replace my tried and true Mach 3 cartridge razors, I am pleased to have found the Proof razor, which closely matches the performance and comfort of my previous choice. The Proof’s pivoting head is exactly what I was seeking. While it does not provide an identical shave for me, it is remarkably similar. The elimination of cartridge purchases will result in significant savings. My only complaint is that the razor does not glide as smoothly as the cartridges. This may be attributed to the lubricating strip on the cartridges, the shave cream I am using, or possibly my technique is poor, as I am still adapting to this razor. Overall, it is an excellent product, and I would wholeheartedly recommend it. That fact that it is made in the U.S. is a huge plus! I plan to experiment with different blades to determine what works best for my needs.

This razor has been literally the best I’ve used. And I’ve owned all the heavy-hitting brands. Leaf, Henson, Supply are the other main ones. I’m 46, to me, it’s the craftsmanship and ease of loading and the close shave with near zero learning curve. The magnetic loading is quick and easy and holds great. Happy to say, this is the last one I needed to buy!!
