Henson AL13 Closed Comb Safety Razor

Medium++ because wife shaves her legs with this razor, too. We're using Astra Platinum blades with this razor. The combination provides a clean, smooth 2 pass shave, whether it's my head or her legs (or any combination of the two). The lighter weight of the razor allows more feeling to pass through the handle - I can feel every strand of hair slicing as the blade passes across my skin - making it feel more aggressive than it actually is. My Merkur 23C feels smoother, probably due to the weight, but takes 3 passes to get a close shave.

Henson AL13 +++ Aggressive

My first razor ever as a new DE Shaver, went with the aggressive as I have coarser hair and everyone else mentions how it is still relatively mild. I was not let down. This razor with the Voskhod blades resulted in a smooth 3 pass shave with no blood drawn. Thank you Geo!

Shaves great. I go for aggressive so I got the +++ version of the Henson. It's really light but cuts two-day growth great. Perfect for newbies or vets. And perfect for travel.
