I also have the full leg one which includes knee protection. I find these shorts are more comfortable and I put my knee armor in my outer pants.

As advertised. Fit well, armor is included and properly tagged for certification. No crashes, so I can't comment on armor effectiveness. A good alternative to having armor in outer layer as it makes it easy to maintain a routine but switch gear due to weather. I like them and would buy again.
