Best boot I've found so far
I had been wanting a pair of actual moto boots that offered true protection. If I'm spending money on gear, I want it to do more than just look the part. It HAS to offer protection too. Every other pair that I tried on in various bike shops did not fit well. They were either too tight/loose, or just looked cheaply made, or worse yet, are just fashion boots sold in an unnamed motorcycle brand store that don't offer any true protection. These boots are anything but that. They are stiff, but I'm used to being in work boots all day, so it wasn't too far from the norm for me. I wore them around the house for a bit and liked them more as time went on. This past weekend I went up to my local HD dealer for a bike show and dyno shootout. They performed well. The soles are stiff and have plenty of grip. I wouldn't be worried about putting my foot down in some sand/road debris. Walking around, they weren't too bad. If you wear safety boots, they won't feel worse than those do (better than any metguard boot I've ever had to wear). They aren't a pair of boots I'd want to go walk a ton of miles in, but that's not their place. Being a hot July day, I did wish I had the ventilated version in the moment, but I bought these for touring, so waterproof is more important to me. That being said, standing in a parking lot on a 90-degree day (32C), they were hot. Maybe I'll have to get a second pair that's ventilated for these shorter day trips with nice weather. I can't attest to their waterproofing yet, but based on initial quality, I would guess they'll do as well as can be expected for a lace-up boot. Overall, the only things I could even nitpick about would be things that would make them less functional as a motorcycle boot, and therefore do not matter. Love the boots, and I'll be back for more as long as I ride and the quality stays as good as it is.

Really like the padding around the ankle. But fits well and actually comfortable compared to other riding boots I've owned. The heel less sole is something I like too, wasn't sure about it when I ordered.

Great feeling, and snug
These boots are snug. I would have ordered a half size larger, but 13.5 isn't a thing. I've been riding these for about 200 miles, and they are solid. They work, and feel good. I ended up dyeing the stitching all black, and I like the look.
