Dekáf Coffee Sampler - 4 Pack

Great Coffee!

I cannot believe how good this coffee it! The Sumatra is not just the best decaf ive ever had, its one of the best coffees in general, that ive ever had. Will purchase again!

Initially I thought there was something wrong with the beans, but then I learned this!

I love my Dekáf beans, but my latest 4-pack had me a bit worried. My WestSoy soymilk was separating from the coffee and ending up looking like the attached picture. I use an Aeropress and initially thought there might be too much oil being extracted, so I doubled the paper filters. Unfortunately, that didn't fix the problem. So, I uploaded the photo to Claude along with my brewing details, and Claude informed me that these particular varietals had a higher pH and that I'd have to lower my water temperature to between 175 and 185. I gave it a try, and...voila! Problem solved. AND...the brew was even more delicious! Highly recommend.

Great way to find out what you like

The only reason this review isn’t five stars is because one of the coffees was not my favorite! But the actual sampler choice itself is amazing. I reached out to the Dekaf team about what temperatures and ratios to use for pour over and they responded quickly and in detail. This made a huge difference in the taste of each coffee for the better. Hush Hush blend and the Ethiopian were my favorite. The Colombian one is very good too if you like more chocolatey/nutty notes.
