We took the usual flip-flop formula—flat, sad, unsupportive—and hit “delete.” What came next is a pair with serious foot-loving upgrades. Think heel-hugging support, dreamy cushioning, and all-day relief for pool days, tropical getaways, an...

Great heel support in a flip flop!
These flip flops really do support my heels. I have plantar fasciitis and these don't irritate the problem. They are comfortable. The color Safari Green is as pictured - sort of a light blue green. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because of the stitching pattern on the foot bed. It doesn't seem to have a function and doesn't feel as comforable as something that correlates more with our footprint would. I can feel the seams when I walk. But it's not a deal breaker - I still like them and figure after awhile I won't notice that sensation. Also, I typically wear a 10, but Kuru fits me better when I size up - I got these in an 11 & they are great.

Comfy but pokey
The corners of each quilted box have a weird residual spike from their mold. It’s fine if you like mild acupressure, but it landed in a sensitive spot on my toes, so I had to use a nail clipper to trim each corner off. The shoe itself is pretty comfortable, but I don’t think it’s going to fix my plantar issues.

Phenomenal Heel Cushioning
These flips have surpassed all my expectations. After wearing them for a few days I no longer felt the plastic stitching, I think it recedes into the material and is no longer noticeable.o I’m 71 years young so my foot’s natural cushioning in the heel and ball of foot is insufficient. The flip begins molding to your footprint and the cushioning is excellent. I generally order 2 sizes to try with open toe shoes. Kuru makes returns and exchanges easy. Please give these flips a try so they will continue to be available. I ordered a second pair !
