LOMA

The footbed is perfect, but the straps that go over the foot do not give/stretch for movement and digs into the skin. I love the footbed and platform. I will try to make them work with shoe stretchers. I might bring them to a local cobbler. But for the price, they should have been tested more before sale. The Coda Aika shoe top would actually be perfect on the Loma platform. Foot would be cradled top and bottom with the strap adjustability. Just a thought. The shoe is pretty and platform was what I wanted for dressier occasions, but straps should be more adjustable. That is why I am trying to make them work for me.

Straps need to be redesigned

I have yet to wear these sandals because of how tight the straps are across the top of my foot. I’m having to try to stretch them out to make them wearable, but the elastic is so tight and strong, it’s taking forever. So I have no idea how they feel to wear and if they help the bottom of my feet. I’ve included photos of the indentations they left on the top of my feet after wearing for 1 minute and then one of the indentations after about 2 hours. At that point, my feet were going numb, that’s how tight they are. How does it make any sense to create a sandal that is supposed to support your arch from below but then crushes it from the top? When I reached out to customer service, they suggested stretching them or taking them to a local shoe store to have them stretch them out. But at the price point of $150, I shouldn’t have to do that. Until they redesign to make the straps more adjustable, I wouldn’t buy these sandals.

Hurts the Top of My Foot

I wanted to love these and I can tell that the arch and support is great but the top is elastic and they cut into the top of my foot really bad. My foot is narrow so its not a width problem. They even caused the marks on the top of my feet and swelling in between the straps. My feet do not normally swell. So disappointed because they were expensive. I will not be able to wear them.
