Poor quality PSU connectors
The conversion parts are fine, although it can be a bit fiddly to hold the face plate on while maneuvering the assembly into a tight mount location because it's not actually attached. I put a drop of hot glue at the tabs to hold it together. Mine also had a very poor quality 12V supply connector, it would not stay plugged in because the shell was over sized. I cut it off and replaced it with one from my cable stash.
