Fantastic flat handlebar

This new RedShift flat handlebar is awesome. I use it on my 2023 Escape City Disc 2. The ride is smoother and more comfortable. I had to lengthen my right brake and rear derailleur cables to fit them. So far, I've kept the full length, but I'm still deciding whether to cut a few inches off. I also added the top bag for an amazing setup. Thank you to the whole team at RedShift!

Great Shape, Big Weight

The shape is excellent and very comfortable the crossbar on the top is perfect for bikepacking accessories. There is a lot of material because both the crossbar and where the stem is mounted are both structural so there is quite a large weight penalty. I'd love to see the crossbar be lightened up so that the overall weight is closer to a standard bar.

Buy once, cry once, right? The 70mm rise brought my controls up to a much more comfortable riding position, and improved my ability to control my Marin Bolinas Ridge 1. I'm a Para-Cyclist, and with no use of my hands, these made it much easier to use with my prosthetic left and paralyzed right hand. I'm 6'2" on an XL frame, abd my shortened reach caused a lot of shoulder pain. (My left arm was badly burned and I broke my right arm in 58 places, causing paralysis of my hand)
