Apex Compact Backpack 4.0

Really enjoying the functionality of the bag! I was surprised at the darkness of the shade. From the online photo, I expected something a bit lighter and more grey-blue rather than a darker green-blue. I have a petite frame (5’2, asian female). Even with the compact, the shoulder straps can slide off from time to time, which is not the most comfortable or pragmatic for long travel days.

I was on the fence about spending this much money on a backpack, but the quality of the Apex Compact has won me over. Other reviews were helpful in guiding me toward the Compact, which fits my laptop, Franklin planner, accessories and water bottle nicely. It’s comfortable to carry, and the construction is high quality. I hope to use it for many years to come.

I purchased the Apex Compact Backpack 4. 0 in Bronze Red in March and have used it on my last few work trips. I chose this backpack specifically because it is shorter in height (for my short torso) and can accommodate a 16 in laptop. Tried it out for a very busy 4-day conference with a LOT of walking. It made such a big difference in comparison to the taller backpacks I’ve used it the past. So much more comfortable and the cell phone pocket on the strap is great. I did buy the chest strap separately and my only knock on this setup is that the strap is fiddly to unclasp. But full marks for comfort, space, and style. Highly recommend it.
