I’ve been using the backpack for international business travel after replacing my beloved eBags backpack, which lasted me an incredible 8 years before it was discontinued. That set a very high bar. My first impression is very positive. The Troubadour is noticeably more ergonomic and much more refined from a design standpoint. It’s more comfortable to carry, especially when fully loaded, and it definitely has a more premium look. That said, I think there are a few opportunities to make it even better for frequent international travelers. The biggest thing I miss is dedicated organization for travel essentials. A couple of small, easy-access pockets for passports, visas, residence permits, Global Entry cards, or other documents would make a huge difference. These are items you need to reach quickly at airports, and right now I find myself digging through the bag. I also miss: * A dedicated pen holder. * A more accessible main opening. The current design looks sleek, but it’s not as quick to get in and out of during travel. * An easy-access sleeve for a folder or important documents without having to open the entire backpack. * A dedicated compartment for toiletries or travel essentials. Even a slim, water-resistant pocket for items like a toothbrush, toothpaste, deodorant, or other small personal items would be incredibly useful during long trips or layovers. Overall, I think Troubadour has created a beautiful, comfortable backpack that feels premium and carries extremely well. If future versions added a few more thoughtful organizational features aimed at business travelers, I genuinely think it would be close to perfect. The remaining question is durability. My old eBags backpack survived 8 years of constant travel, so I’m very curious to see how the Troubadour holds up over time. If it proves to be just as durable, I’ll be very happy with the switch.

As I unpacked the backpack out of the box the first Touch of Material felt really nice. It is well fit and good designed. The storage capacity is exactly what i was looking for, if you have not only a bigger laptop but other stuff to carry i would sincerely recommend this backpack. Even for people like me that are not so keen on structuring and keeping order, this bag just kinda keeps it organized by itself. If you are looking for a buisness backpack it’s the only worthy fit.

Love the fit and styling. While roomy, it’s a bit stiff and flexible which makes putting items in and out harder than it should be. Might loosen up over time with wear which would make it closer to five stars.
