Made my toile, true to size and loved the look! Next..make up in some lovely fabric found. This is the second Bella loves patterns I have purchased.. they are lovely

Great pattern, lousy fabric

This is the first Bella Loves Pattern I bought and I’m completely fan. Great instructions. Great pattern. I’m just sad my fabric wasn’t really qualitative enough: one of the layer was a very loose plain weave that had a tendency to self-destruct + it is shedding like a fox in spring.

Loved the pattern

I’m learning to sew and chose this pattern as my third ever project, so let’s say I’m still a beginner. The instructions were great and easy to follow. I was only a little confused with the neckline part, but it turned out really nice in the end. The pattern pieces matched perfectly. I’m not sure if it was mentioned in the instructions, but I’d recommend first sewing the main parts of the coat with a different fabric as a mock-up to check the sizing. I had to adjust the sleeve length, but after following the instructions everything turned out well. I made mine in a wool and cashmere blend, which makes it feel really luxurious :) I highly recommend this pattern. It was definitely a challenge, but it’s written so clearly that even as a complete beginner I managed to sew it successfully.
