Lobster delivery Christmas Day

Everything went very smoothly with all the ordering and delivery on time as usual. Must admit that for the first time I was disappointed in the lobsters. They were supposed to be 1 3/4 to 2 pound lobsters. The ones received looked smaller and when cooked, definitely yielded less meat than my last large lobster, which was only a pound and a half. For the first time ever we were kind of disappointed and what we received in actual good eating meat. They did not eat like a 1 3/4 to 2 lb lobsters. There was considerably less meat in this than my last pound and a half lobster.

Lobster Lover

I am a lobster lover and have ordered from Lobster Boys a couple of times. The lobsters always come well packed, on time, and very delicious. In my last order the "hard shells" were so extremely hard that I needed to take out my construction tools to open them. Perhaps it is the season when the shell becomes very thick? They were still great so the ordeal was worth it.
