Disappointed
Based on the reviews and a friend who's a long-time fan, I had high expectations for my first pair of Kuru sandals. The support was great, and I loved the height of the sole. However, the straps across the toe and around the back of my heel are a "crispy/hard" "leather" that was scratchy on my foot. After wearing them around the house for an hour, I was ready to take them off to save my feet from being rubbed anymore. There are also 5 (!) different neutral colors on the sandal: toe/heel strap, the cross strap is a darker fabric, the cork, and 2 colors on the sole. Some consistency would be great. Sadly, they're on their way back.

I cannot believe how comfortable these shoes are! I feel secure, stable and stylish all at once. I wish i could get them in every color! I can wear them all day without any discomfort. I highly recommend these.
