Hip Style
I love these sandals. I bought them last summer and enjoyed many compliments whenever I wore them. This year, I wore them for an entire day - 15,000+ steps and guess what? Blisters all over the place. Mostly due to a bunion on my left foot. And now I see how the leather rubs on the bunion. Perhaps the bunion grew since last year? I don't know but in the future I'll only be wearing them for outings that won't require a lot of walking.

Loma!
Hello! I bought these sandals because I'm on my feet for 8 hours a day. I work in a leather store where we sell sandals. However, we don't sell this brand. The sandals feel good on my feet for about 4 hours max. Then I can't wait to get them off my feet because of the pain. As for the heel, yes, it feels great. The arch support is fine too. However, the toe bed part hurts like heck. I don't think anyone wants to wear sandals that hurt under your foot pad. To me, this shoe is overrated, given that it cost me $140.00. I probably can't return them because I've worn them indoors for a few weeks.

Disappointed
Based on the reviews and a friend who's a long-time fan, I had high expectations for my first pair of Kuru sandals. The support was great, and I loved the height of the sole. However, the straps across the toe and around the back of my heel are a "crispy/hard" "leather" that was scratchy on my foot. After wearing them around the house for an hour, I was ready to take them off to save my feet from being rubbed anymore. There are also 5 (!) different neutral colors on the sandal: toe/heel strap, the cross strap is a darker fabric, the cork, and 2 colors on the sole. Some consistency would be great. Sadly, they're on their way back.
