Fool's Gold Beer Recipe Kit

This is a great product. For someone that has never brewed beer before this kit has everything you need. The process was extremely easy and the instructions were easy to follow. The finished product was fantastic, this is a very good beer, and I will no doubt be brewing again.

Bad taste but, likely my fault

I got two one gallon kits and combined. The issue is I soaked both packs of coffee beans for 10 days instead of 7. This gives the beer a burnt coffee flavor with bitter aftertaste that is not good. Also, I have had way more luck with liquid yeast than dry yeast. So, I will try again with White Labs yeast and only soak for 5 days. It has potential to be good, but, unfortunately it is undrinkable in current form.
