I have been using my backpack every day for 5+ years, and somehow, somewhere, I lost a connector buckle on my sternum strap before a bucket-list backcountry trip in Alaska. I sent a note to GG support, and they shipped out a new strap that arrived quickly. Super service, just like I had hoped. I love their packs and this company!

Sternum strap was a critical upgrade to my Gorilla backpack. As you can see from pictures, though, I'm now rocking 2 sternum straps unless I choose to cut off the original one. I'm a 5-4, 120 pound female-- the original strap couldn't get tight enough to appropriately fit the pack. If you're on the small side, you will probably need this. Downside of it... it is manually attached and came off the strap once during my 35 day trek. Also- extra cost. Wish the built in strap had more range for smaller users.
