The. Hiking pole replacement tips actually worked on the carbon poles I purchased at the PCT convention in California in 2005. I was told that they would not fit, incase others ask, yes they do. Unfortunately I twisted the pole a little too much putting the first one on (I think it cooled down too much) and heard the pole crack. Dang! I found a small axial crack about .31 long. I don’t know if it can be fixed. So I bought the new LT5 ones. Going to miss those 2oz. Poles. Yes 2oz.
