Mixed feelings!! Not sure why the cord is so short. I had to go hunting in my house then finally just used one of the extra straps that comes with the tent to secure it up. Now it works great...but I didn't tie it tight enough and it shlumped down on my first trip. Please rethink with ties, Gossamer Gear, we're not that handy!!

Almost perfect

I'm in love with this little addition to my tent. I'm always looking for something...my glasses, or batteries, or mouth guard...you name it. Now I can organize at least SOME of my stuff in my tent. This weighs nothing and is very useful... But before I even took it out for it's first trip, I did what others suggested...I added two small hooks in the middle to make sure that I had 4 points of contact with my ridgeline and it worked great. Would be awesome if it came with them, but really not a big deal to sew a couple of them on. Now I'll get another for my 1 person tent and leave them permently attached in each tent.
