I was skeptical about buying a trekking pole tent because it sounded like a nuisance to change my pole length twice a day, and I thought they wouldn't stand up to windy conditions. 'The One' is a good introduction to such a tent, because it has its own poles and is so good in windy conditions, it will wait patiently while you hurry around and get the other pole in! The only difficulty has been that the one on the door side gets stuck in the grommet and is hard to remove. I wish set-up videos would also cover the best way to take it down in adverse conditions.

I love your tent and products

Easier to use than my trekking poles. Plus, I found that after I get into camp and set up my tent, I still need the trekking poles to hoist the bear bag, scramble down the creek bank to get water, and fend off rabid ferrets.
