Easy and spacious
I ordered this tent to replace my trusty MSR Hubba. It weighs about the same but is so much roomier, and very easy to set up. (However, the larger footprint could be an issue in tight spaces.) I modified it a bit by adding loops of thin nylon cord to the pole hubs, so I can attach a guyline easily; and I added line to the inside to create a couple of "clotheslines" at the top of the inside. I got the groundsheet and found it very useful, hardly any weight at all. Being able to easily unclip the inner from the outer, while still under the fly, is a huge improvement over the Hubba. The fly + inner stuff easily into the provided sack, (I hold the two tops of the fly and bring them together, fold, then push into the sack; then I stuff the tent gently.) You can further compress the tent using your fist; then twist the excess sack material a couple of times, fold it over the stuffed portion, and secure with the cord/barrel lock ("sausage style"). Even if you add stakes, this makes the package very small (I carry the poles in their sleeve on the outside of my Kakwa). I'm hoping to also get the DCF version, but realize (based on my experience with the DCF X-mid Pro) that it will not stuff (roll it) and the resulting package will be bigger, more cumbersome (tradeoff for weight savings).

Best tent for 1 person
Never had such a light, good looking and easy to install tent before. Quality is exzellent! Only the bag is a bit too small. Thanks for the fastest shipping to Germany I ever have experienced :-)

Love my Durston tent and trekking poles
Was very glad when my Durston Xdome1+ and trekking poles arrived after 3 weeks to rural NSW Australia. The hype has lived up to expectation in very usable practical gear that I feel I can rely on out on the trail. Have only tried on an overnight hike so far and loved the experience the usability of the tent feels very well thought out and plenty of space for just me and my gear. Cant wait to take it out on more multiday hikes I have planned for the rest of the year.
