Weird sizing

It's been an annoying Kuru journey with all their shoes. If you are a size 7 you could get 7, 7.5 or even 8. There is no consistency among brands. I'm a size 7. I wish they'd just be honest whether they run true to size. I bought these in a 7. I couldn't even get my foot into it. I had to exchange it and the 8 fits great. Yes, they exchange it but what an inconvenience for me to return them. Based on their sizing I bought their Aika in a 7.5 in black. Those were too big so I had to exchange those for a 7. While waiting I bought a 7 in brown and they didn't fit. Way too small. It's annoying. I bought slippers in a 7.5 and they were too big. Their Luna boots I need a 7.5. Yes, once you find your size they fit great. Getting there is another story. The struggle is real. Size up in these. I've never in my life wore a size 8. I ended up exchanging my brown Aika sandals for these. The website said if I chose to exchange I'd get 10.00 off. I didn't get that either. The screen messed up. I called customer service and they guy told me to take them to Walgreens. They don't accept QR codes so I had to drive home and print a label. I was so mad. I was about teady to send them all back. Then my slippers 7.5 were too big and I needed a 7. Yes, the Mesa fit great. The 3 star is for my trouble. The fit once you get the right size is a 5 star but I'm still irritated.

Felt great right out of the box! I heve feet that swell in heat and from hormones. I can wear these all day swollen or not and feel stable and comfotable. I have wide feet, so the straps can feel a smidge tight at my most swollen (could never wear with socks). I have already ordered another pair of KURU shoes and im sure oll be back again. If you are on the edge, buy the shoe. There is no risk since you can wear then for a bit to see how your feet feel in them, i wish i would have bought these sooner! I will wear all summer!

Soft, but straps don’t breathe and not as much support

When I first got them I knew they were a little big but my intention was to wear them around the house as a sneaker alternative. The sole is very soft, but over hours of cooking, there’s not enough support- not as effective as sneakers. Now that it’s been very hot, there’s lack of breathability of the straps makes the top of my foot uncomfortable enough to have to take them off.
