Going back to my Quantums
Disclaimer: if you don’t have problems with swelling, you’ll find these shoes quite suitable and comfortable. I thought these would be great for travel. The venting and material keep your feet cool and, if it rained, they would dry quickly. Unfortunately, because my BP meds and not-so- great circulation causes swelling in my legs and feet, the shoes became tight and caused blisters on my toes. I also wear compression socks. I did a LOT of walking (miles of it) and stair climbing (many flights) every day in the UK. I obviously need something a little wider in the toe box. The last two times I came, I wore the Quantums and never had a problem. I’ll stick with them next year when I return.

A bit disappointed
I was really looking forward to these new slip on shoes because I love my lace up Kuru gym shoes so much. However it doesn’t feel like a slip on when you have to sit down and bend over to pull the back of the shoe out to straighten the shoe out. Also the back of the shoe goes too high up on the back by my ankle causing blisters on my heel and my no show socks to slide down into the shoe. I want a pair of slip ons that I can slip on from standing up and just start walking and not have to bend over and fiddle with the back of the shoe.

No pain through miles of walking!
Bought these before my trip as my current shoes hurt when walking. I was recently diagnosed with Heglund's syndrome which is bony enlargement on the back of my heal which aggravated by rigid shoes. I heard great reviews and decided to purchase Atom slip-on shoes. I have say these shoes are AMAZING! We left during spring break with all TSA issues and did a lot of standing and walking through airports with no issues. I had no fatigue or needing to break them in! I love these shoes! I am getting a 2nd pair!
