Soprano Saxophone Signature

Excellent product. Love the consistency of this reed. Pick up the horn after a long sit as a double and I don’t have to worry about soaking, it just plays.

Ease of use and consistency.

I recently purchased a soprano sax to use as a doubling instrument in a big band. I normally play alto but my music also calls for flute, clarinet and soprano sax. Having the Legere Signature reed on both my clarinet and soprano makes these instrument switches fast and easy. There is no soaking a reed that dried out waiting for that doubling opportunity once in a while. On top of the reeds playing immediately with no soaking, I can rest assured that my reed will play the same every time I play. The reeds produce a great sound and are easy to blow. I picked up my new soprano after putting a 2.75 on a Theo Wanna 8 lay mp. I was surprised when the horn not only played up to the high F# but also played the high G and high A altissimo as effortlessly as they play on my alto. Playing with a Legere reed in a pit orchestra

I use Legere reeds for my various woodwind instruments and they are usually reliable and responsive. I am newly playing a soprano sax in a pit orchestra this summer so I purchased a reed for it. It unfortunately split a little after a number of hours of practicing and rehearsals so I had to buy a new one again. It has lasted through six shows with four to go.
