First time customer. I ordered a box of lobsters to deliver in the midwest on July 3rd for July 4th and they were as fresh and tasty as when in New England. Price and quality were great! I highly recommend LobsterBoys!

Chef Box - 15 halves

It couldn't have been better. Lobsters arrived at noon on the day of our family lobster event, the weather held although I don't think I can credit the Lobsterboys for that bit of luck. The lobsters were hard shell and each was a solid 1.5 lb and some a little more. My wife and I met in Ogunquit, Maine in 1961 (the same year Barnacle Billy opened) and this was the best way we could think of to bring in the family to celebrate our 59th wedding anniversary. If we do it again on the 60th, I'll definitely use them again. One daughter did say that maybe instead of "lobsterboys" they should be "lobsterbouys". And one comment for clarity on the website. Talking about "quarters" and "halves" and 15 "pieces" is quite clear to the boys (or bouys) in the trade that they are talking about whole lobsters, but I would suggest that instead of "15 pieces" you say "15 lobsters".

Great Father’s Day treat!

When we moved from Long Island to Florida 5 years ago I knew it would be tough and expensive to find cold water lobster that we enjoyed up north. I decided to give Lobsterboys a try and ordered 15 1.5lb lobsters for Father’s Day. The shipment arrived on time the day before Father’s Day and all the lobsters were lively and fresh. I stored in the refrigerator wrapped in some moist newspapers and on Sunday afternoon they were all still in perfect condition. We made lobster rolls, lobster bisque, and lobster risotto with the leftovers. Everything was delicious and perfect. I will definitely use Lobsterboys again.
