The Perfect Lobster Feast

We received our shipment (carefully tracked by FedEx) in the morning here in the DC metro area. All were alive and kicking! Checked each one carefully (have been pinched many times in the past!) and tucked them in the fridge for the night. Be mindful the box takes up quite a lot of room. Had to remove a couple of shelves in the garage (beer) fridge along with a few beers. Oh well. Some sacrifices are worth it. Set up a steam pot on the gas grill's side burner. Worked quite well. I don't have the BTUs to support a boiling 30 qt pot so steaming was the best alternative (and I highly recommend over boiling for many reasons), especially when dealing with 30 lbs of lobster and a dozen hungry guests. The chix were just the right size, uniform and sweet. Harder shell than I'm used to with NE lobster (almost like stone crab or very large lobsters) which I assume is typical of lobster from far up in the Canadian waters. Nest time we go bigger but we were all extremely happy with the chix. Can't wait to order the next chef's box!

Orders a box of chicks chef box lobsters! Absolutely the best lobsters i’ve ever eaten, My entire family enjoyed and indulged the lobsters.
