SwitchBot Relay Switch 1PM

Cool functionality but the installation instructions are lacking

Pro: Converted a normal, very simple light switch to a smart switch. Normal people can still use the switch and you wouldn’t even know the switchbot is in there. Con: the wiring instructions are unclear and very general. It took quite a while of trial and error to figure out how to wire this and keep everything working. The solution needed up being needing to add a pigtail lead off the common line while leaving the common wiring connected as it was before the install. In other words, although the 1PM has a mandatory common connection, that connection isn’t inline.
