Great Air Monitor

The Apollo Automation AIR-1 Air Quality Sensor is a fantastic addition to any smart home setup, especially for Home Assistant users. It packs an impressive array of sensors into a compact design, tracking everything from particulate matter (PM1, PM2.5, PM10) and VOCs to barometric pressure and optional CO2 levels.  Setup is incredibly straightforward thanks to its seamless ESPHome integration, allowing it to be quickly discovered by Home Assistant. The built-in RGB pixel lights are a great touch, providing quick visual alerts if the air quality drops. While the optional gas sensor can occasionally show cross-sensitivity spikes, the core sensors are highly accurate and reliable. Overall, it is a feature-rich and highly customizable monitor that is well worth the investment.

Works as advertised

I purchased this to use with Home assistant and it was up and running in minutes and reporting back Using it for basement VOC, CO2 as well as temp and humidity. I like the VOC quality entity that tells you if its improving or not. It also has pressure like 14.44 PSI

Incredible sensor platform!

I purchased two of these to calibrate and use as references for my other mixed-brand climate sensors around the house, as well as to monitor air quality and drive two older smart purifiers who worked great except for the aging built-in quality sensors. These sensors have exceeded every expectation, from exposed telemetry to quality of sensor data to ease of setup and calibration. Exactly what I was looking for, and I’ll be snagging more in the near future!
