Love It (Full M-1 Matrix Kit)

I got the full kit, even the microphone. I already reviewed but it was linked to the matrix display only, so I copied my review here... This matrix display (and controller) is cool and does exactly what I hoped it would. The documentation was "okay" but could have need much better. Without too much technical skill, someone can get this working (with or without Home Assistant). Finding and resizing gif files does work but sometimes requires a reset (for me) to get them to display. Hopefully this is a temporary software issue in WLED. I was able to setup multiple WLED segments (display sections) and overlay the time and some Home Assistant data (temerature, humidity, notification / alert messages) on top of an animated WLED preset. Whenever I get an SMS message or alert (e.g poor air quality or low battery), The Time segment is hidden and two lines of text are displayed. Cool and useful. Suggestion for Apollo Automation: Add some sample 64x64 gif files. At least to download from you wiki.

I love this device!

I was able to hook it up to my home assistant and using triggers I have it show an alert gif for different events like leaving the front door unlocked or a devices battery being too low.

Good product

Was pleasantly surprised by the LED matrix screen. And good support from the Apollo team.
