Great device for smart home automation with low voltage or mains, easy to setup up, faultless integration into Home Assistant. Deleliverd in good time and good condition. Will buy again

Shelly 1 Gen 3 is good

My purpose of this was to control an aircon controller. To turn on and off depending on a 24V AC signal being pulled to ground, while powering the shelly with 240V. It works fine, but the Shelly output is normally open (NO), but in my case it should be normally closed (NC). Maybe I need a Gen 4 to be able to reverse the output.

Dry contact useful

i always thought the Shelly 1 was just a simpler version of the 1PM but I now understand the benefit of the 'dry contact' feature in the Shelly 1. It's very useful when the switching needs to be separate from the shelly power supply
