Southern Pecan Toffee

Old fashioned Fun

I'm 71. At the first sniff in the bag, it reminded me of my mother's candy creations with fresh butter and nuts we kids had shelled ourselves each Fall. This has a pure butterscotch flavor, barely caramelized, poured over the pecans, thick, like homemade, Through the years, I've tried to make toffee, but it's easy to get too dark or even to burn. I have rationed the bag to just one at a time, and every time I open it, I enjoy a world from long ago.

Best toffee ever!

I received a small package of toffee as a gift at Christmas. Unfortunately, along with Christmas, I also had a broken foot and that horrible coughing bug that swept through my community. Nothing tasted good! I decided to open the toffee as a treat. It was fantastic! I immediately ordered a pound of the toffee! I am forcing myself to eat just a couple of pieces a day and I am not sharing! (East to do since now I am snowed in; and no one can get here!). This won’t be my only order!

Nothing like it in the world, or at least my hemisphere, I tried to replicate it, thinking I was so smart that I could do better. No. I will be ordering all future gift of this Toffee from this company. Trying to outdo existing perfection is just plan stupid.
