This is a great tool for finding my cat at night. I’ve been able to spot her outside at a distance of about 50 yards. I can spot cars from over 100 yards when using the appropriate thermal setting. The night vision is okay without the illuminator, and works very well with the Illuminator. The mounting points could be larger and more solid material, but they seem to well enough. Will update a review when I receive the j arm as I got one off Amazon but it did not thread appropriately.
