Much better than lap belts
They are fairly straight forward to install. I'm relatively short at 5ft 9 and they work well. I grew up always having a shoulder belt, so it never felt safe just using stock lap belts. However, in my 1973 Ford Bronco Ranger I would have to change the location of the bolt down to the frame if I was any taller as it blocks how far you can move your seat back. On the passenger side, I had to use the same bolt location as the roll cage so that people can easily get to the back seat. Not sure if it's a Bronco thing or these seat belts. If you are okay with a lap belt, the retractable lap belt would be a lot easier to install. If you want the shoulder belts these are good but double check your frame mounting location with the seats before installing to make sure you don't have to change the location later.
