I bought these for use as a base layer for winter motorcycle riding. I wouldn’t recommend them for that purpose, but there is no question in my mind that if you had to stay outside in the elements in harsh winter weather, these would provide excellent protection. They are a little too bulky for use under riding gear and added about fifteen minutes to my prep time. But they are truly an excellent piece of equipment for someone doing, say, event security, that has to remain out in the weather for an extended period.

I purchased the Equinoxx Stage 3 shirt last winter and loved it. Waited over a year for the thermal bottoms and well worth the wait. I didn’t hesitate to purchase them. If you are in between sizes, I’d go a size up. These fit snug and keep you extremely warm and cuts the wind. Excellent in cold, snowy midwest winters.

Great quality. They keep me very warm. Almost too warm sometimes. I plan to purchase more.
